I have just received an email from BMW AG showing the debut of the E46 M3. I think all will enjoy, it looks like a very nice car. www.bmw.com/bmwe/products/m3/

Again I have gone to both BMW dealerships in Westchester County, NY, one in White Plains and the other in Mt. Kisco. These two dealers are receiving an allocation of 4 cars from October till the end of the year. They are willing to take deposits, but both will not commit to charging only the MSRP. They insist on auctioning the cars to the highest bidder. The deposit will serve as a right of first refusal. They boasted that they had received $8,000 over MSRP on the M5's. One salesman even told me that their goal was to make as much money on this car as they could, it was all supply and demand and I was supposed to understand.

These guys are jerks. I wouold love to hear some success stories about orders taken for the E46 M3. Please provide me with names and numbers, as I refuse to deal with my two local dealerships.

I just saw the E46 in person at the auto show! it's incredible! much more aggressive looking than the 328ci! twin tails look excellent!

Im sorry to hear that you're having so much problems...when are you looking to take delivery? it's probably too late for this year

I would check in another state...you should call yourself instead of having the dealer do a "search"...just have it delivered to you...I had my last MB delivered to me from Virginia on a flatbed...I think they charged $500. It's done all the time.

I know a BMW salesman who would probably love to have your biz..dont know when he'd able to get you one but they dont "auction" their M cars! ...if you want, drop me a line and I will forward your email to him.
