Clear Front Bumper reflector

My Impressions of Phone:

I have the CPT8000 series phone kit. The phone is a Motorola CDMA Timeport 8767 with a color diplay. I am using Sprint.

The phone kit deletes the cupholder and coin box. (The only part I don't like.) The phone gets inserted into the console. It has a coiled cord attatched in case you want a private conversation or you ACTUALLY WANT TO DIAL. The caller Id is displayed on the led of the CD Unit. If you have the NAV unit more information is displayed. The address book of the phone is scrolled up and down from the steering wheel. Incoming calls display caller ID and automatically mute the radio. The Full Duplex speakerphone is EXCELLANT.
The voice module is essential to really make this system work. It dials individual numbers or one of 50 stored numbers on command. (This addressbook is seperate from the phones.

The bottom line....If you can afford to throw 1500-1800 towards this it's a really safe solution for using a phone in the car.

PS. It requires a external antenna. They designed a small balck shark fin for the E46. I didn't care for it. (too big) I selected the 7 series. ( I will post photos later.

Very nice! So do you have to go with a specific phone carrier with this option?

I wish didnt have to lose the cupholders though.

Thanks for sharing it with us. This is the first time Im seeing this option in a car.

Hi Marlin,

Do you have to mount the phone where the cup holders are? I want to get the system, but don't want to loose the cup holders. Is it possible to not install the cradle and still have the system function?

Thanks

You can a dash kit for the car it will move the phone on to the dash (with out drilling any holes). Then all you will need is the cupholders that pop back in.Any cell phone co. that sells and installs hands free kits will or can order the part and install it .
