hi guys, this question is for the owners of the new m3. i was just wondering about how much you guys paid for the car. i know there is dealer markup because the car is in demand, but i would like to get a figure. i am currently on the wait list and my dealer is telling me close to 60k. what do you owners think of that number?

thanks

Hi,

I paid exactly the same for both of the ones I have had. It was a coupe with lux pkg, xenon, in dash cd. The MSRP was right at $50k including the $1000 gas guz tax.

If you are getting a cabrio then $60k sounds about right depending on how its optioned. In any event, if you're on the waiting list, I wouldn't pay any premium over the MSRP. I am in Ga. and I dont believe any of the dealerships in town are charging a premium..unless you want to walk in and get one (assuming one is available).

Hope this helped.

Frank

I've talked to a few dealers...it's my impression that most dealers are NOT charging over msrp...but they aren't giving away anything either.

I've been to several dealers around here in Southern California. Most of them want around 60K. Yikes!

Getting mine for MSRP. If you are on the west coast, and want one, then you should e-mail dealers on the east coast, get your deal done there, and arrange a "Courtesy Delivery" where BMW ships the car to your local dealer like it was destined for him, and not to the dealer you ordered it from. I have this arranged already for my car.

If you have questions, fire away!

Im in Ga and I think you can get one from United BMW for MSRP..not sure what the wait is but probably not as long as it is out on the west coast.

Talk to Kitty Reussman 770-476-8800. Tell her Frank with the Alpine White told you to call her.
