I was wondering whether anyone knew when the 2002 model was coming out? Also, are there any new colors for the 2002 model?

The 2002 starts production in early september; if you're in the sept allocation, you should have already spec'd your car. Mine took about a month from start of production to my dealership. There are status codes that explains the stage that your car is in. If you are waiting for your car, you should definitely go to www.bmwusa.com and register in the owners circle (you will need vin # or production #). The owners circle will tell you what stage your car is at.

The only other color that I have heard for U.S. is Topaz Blue. I think there is another one but not sure what it is...will post later after I check.
