I tried to dyno my 2001 M3 today. No joy! The motor would not turn more than 6500 RPM
on the dyno. The shop owner told me the ECU is stopping the motor at 6500 RPM because
the front tires aren't moving. They wanted to pull a fuse out and run the test and then replace the fuse. We had the DSC off and the Sport button on. Does any of this sound normal to anyone? The numbers are looking very promising but we really need to see 8000 RPM.

I read the same thing in "European Car" ..I think it was sept issue. They couldnt get it past the 6500 rpm either.
