I am trying to decide between these Ext Colors. Love them both, but I just cant decide.

Any input will be appreciated.

Hi Bruce,

I have seen both in person (actually had a IR/BLk for awhile) and they are both beautiful!

If you are happy with both then I would probably go with the silver for the ease of maintenance.

The effort required to keep swirl marks off a red car (or any dark car for that matter) is next to impossible. If swirl marks bother you (they bother me alot!), then you will save yourself some headache and heartache. I can't see swirl marks on the AW/IR M3 even in sunlight with me bending down. I imagine it would be similar for the silver.

The only thing about silver is that so many people are going with this color. I dont know if you've seen this but here's a couple of polls on how people are specing their cars.

Individual are now accepting orders for other colours on the M3.. I ordered mine in Estoril Blue and it looks by far (IMHO) the best of any other colour.
