Simon unregistered	posted 10-06-2001 10:53 AM The HP rating of the euro spec M3 is considerably better than the US one... and yes there were two versions. Pre-late 1996 was 280 BHP and 1996-2000 was 321BHP, this version was know as M3 Evolution and featured 6 speed box and uprated brakes amongst numerous other changes.
