I want to drive my 1997 M3 Sedan in the Sierra Nevada mountains to go snow skiing in the winter. I will need some type of wheel traction device such as chains. But the Owner's Manual says you can put chains on the M3. Surely someone drives their M3 in the snow in CA. Any ideas?
Thank you. jmartin7@pacbell.net

I drive my 95 m3 on the snow and I only put snow tires on them. They work fine with just snow tires, and this is in Colorado.
