Hi,

Could somebody please tell what the spec difference between the five spoke and the multi-spoke alloys on a 94 - 99 model

Are the five spoke an optional extra??

Thanx.

The "M Contour" wheels that I think you are referring to are part of the optional luxury package. About 1/3 of e36's have that package.

I think the 95 has the M contour wheels as a lux package, however, I think the later models are equiped with the doble Spokes, which I think is much better looking..IMHO..
PS...just a pain in the ass to clean them

I am just posting my answer because i have a diferent "version".
As for europe, all M3`s have alloy wheels such as yours but the diference is:
M-CONTOUR is original part of the M3 sedan.
MULTI-SPOKE "bmw motorsport" is original part of the M3 coupé.
MULTI-SPOKE "clean" is original part of the M3 cabrio.
Each of this models had their own wheel style. Only by request the customer could change the wheels.

Quick question ... pun intended
I have a 98 M3 Coupe, American. What are the differences between mine and yours, assuming you have the European version. The more info and details the better.
Thanks
Victor

Victor, from what i know the differences are:
Rear floatable rotors for european
Six throtlle bodies
Electronic vanos for the inlet cams if the car is a 3.0 and double vanos if the car is a 3.2.
Head ported different for european but same configuration (24 valve)
Different headers
Different cats
Different suspension
Bigger air flow meter
Different engine management
Different airbox
I think thats all. As you can see, major differences are in the engine. European engine wont be able to pass the polution rules in U.S.

Victor,

Euro M3's can also have the options of a 6-speed manual, rear foglights (this is also a canadian option, hell it's probably an option everywhere but the U.S.), The rear side windows can have motorized actuators, the headlights have washers(spray), the headlights are different, and I am pretty sure there is more... =^)

No, no, no. All euro M3 came stock with 6 speed manual (3.2). Option was the SMG gearbox.
