Dose anyone know the jet for a 100hp shot for a dry kit? The fuel is a 42. It is a 97 m3 3.2l. IP: Logged |

I do not know the specific jet, but I have had nitrous on my M3. My system used NOS components. I called NOS to ask about jetting and they were very helpful. So if you're using NOS, give them a call. P.S. Be carefull with the jets! I put on IP: Logged |

DragM3, I think you may have some misunderstanding about how nitrous is applied - 150hp shot could easily destroy the engine. Nitrous doesn't come on like other forced induction. If not done in a staged setup or with a controller which pulses the solenoid it will be an _instantaneous_ 150 hp. The lower in the rev band you apply the higher your cylinder pressure will be - say for instance, you trigger it at 2k rpm, that will be roughly an extra 350 lbs/torque, your engine could have been trying to put out close to 600 lbs./torque! - Beau IP: Logged |
