My short shift from B&M arrived this morning and me and a friend of mine who works in a BMW dealer installed it at lunch break. It took us about half an hour and i would like to share with you my opinion about this.
The travel is reduced for almost 50% but now gear shifting makes a lot of noise and you got to get used to the reverse. Looks like its not engaged but it is. Only the noise is strange. (or not).
Any comments?? Eduardo G.

i had a short shift in another car and it felt horrible. first and reverse felt barely engaged and gears were difficult to find. that's why i didn't get it in the bimmer. but i did hear ron stygar produces some very good pieces.
