dmc4cc Junior Member Posts: 4 Registered: Nov 2001	posted 11-11-2001 08:01 PM             Hi I own a Black 95 M3, its been making a strange wheel of fortune noise eminating from the Vanos area. We think its the chain tensioner on the second short cam chain, does anyone have any ideas or other suggestions? IP: Logged

I will post again in the next few days with the results. I discussed the sound with the shop owner and he felt it was probably the cog that drives the VANOS. It is about $80 parts plus $$$ labor.
