How are the performance on this cars? I am thinking about getting one. But not willing to go through the rigour of going back to stick in midst of LA traffic for commute. Thanks for any information in advance.

The automatic gearbox installed in M cars is very pleseant for daily driving and you still have the sequential function for more agressive ride. Also, with this gearbox you dont have to worry about tranny noises or damaged clutch discs. In my opinion, if you want an M3, try to find one with manual drive, for me a sports car has to have manual gearbox.
