The E36 M3 has air vents on top of the hood?
I swear its on the 2001 M3, but not on the E36?? or is that a custom, aftermarket addon?

The E36 does not have air vents in the hood.
Not even those special versions. What you saw was definitly custom made.
Eduardo.

I am very sorry for my previous answers wich they were not correct. Only now i understood what you meant by airvents in the hood. I thought you were talking about some kind of mods done to the hood. It is true that all E36 coupés have airvents in the hood. Unfortunatly the sedans don`t. And the bad news...the hoods are diferent, this means that you cant aply a coupé hood in a sedan. Thanks.
Eduardo.

You will also see that the wing or fender(I think thats what you call it in theUS) is also different due to the longer doars on the coupe' as well as the windscreen.
