I'm debating between getting an M3 Cab or a 4-door. I plan to continue to use my Q45 as my primary daily driver and want a fun to drive, civilized and well built car as a secondary driver for both me and my wife. If it were just me I'd probably hang on to the '68 Camaro, but she won't drive it and the big burly 'burb is not always needed by her. The reason I gave up on 2 seaters was so our two little girls could ride along with us in the "fun" car. Makes sense, eh? Back seat is not as easy to get in/out of on the ragtop, but it has other benifits - ie. SUN!! Oh, I live in northern CA where the weather is ideal for a drop top, seems a shame to go thru life w/o one to me.... But OTOH I could always sell the Q45 if I got an M3/4 and use that as my daily driver. I'm in outside sales and occasionally shuffle co-workers and clients around.

Any thoughts?

I would stick to the cabrio. You already have a daily driver so buy the cab. and leave it in the garage only for the weekend.
And an important notice: cabrios are found in more good shape than sedans. Less miles on the clock too...
