First time here so let's have it. Is this forum worth a damn. To anyone out there. I may need some advice after all this is my first Bimmer. Don't sweat it though, I wasn't looking for a turtle neck as part of my purchase. That's why I didn't want an E36 or 46. Those cars are nice but they aint shit. Has anyone done an E36 engine swap? I plan to very soon. Is this forum legit, or is it full of chooches with 36's and 46's, that won't ever go to the track, yet talk shit and drag race mustangs and camaros. Please. IP: Logged |

What are you going to get? I take it as you're looking in this section it will be an E30? track purity that one. Never owned one, but have been driven around on the track in a couple, and they are superb. I have an E36 (yep it's so) and love it, and yes I have taken it on the track, and no I don't drag it on the street. IP: Logged |

e30s are great cars. just not many owners on this board. bulk of the members are e46 and e36 owners. myself, a m coupe driver. a car you might consider(mcoupe); it's great for the track. IP: Logged |
