Hi thanks for visiting M3Forum.com!

I'm not really into "tuning" an M3 as it's pretty good from the factory. Having said that, I think most people do the induction, chip, and exhaust as their first mods. You might notice a slight improvement if you do a couple of the above mods. You might want to try a K&N air filter; it's a quick cheap mod.

There's plenty of good exhausts out there so I just tell people go with the one that SOUNDS the best for you.

On the chip, I would recommend a Jim Conforti chip. I know alot of people who swear by his chips. Most BMW tuners know of his name and I probably wouldn't go with one who doesn't.

How does the J.C. compare to the one produced by Active Autowerks?
