I am really getting more than a little worried classic 318i 1985 is in beautiful condition and as I have only had her for two weeks I had the RAC check her over, and she is fine.
since then I have had two near accidents going round a roundabout as my backend starts slipping out and this is not at any grat speed last time it happened it was dry and I was doing about 25mph,
Is this common for the year and series or should I get it looked at someone something about weighing down paving stones in the boot?
Any advice?

sounds like you need new suspension or tires. i used to have a 318 and it used to perform like a champ. good luck with the fix.
